As the membership body for 341 further education colleges in England, the Association of Colleges (AoC) wanted to establish a team in India to help deliver world-class vocational training alongside Indian further education training providers.
Having already worked with the AoC International Team, Armstrong was asked to create a new identity for AoC India. The brief included requirements from the UK and Indian offices plus the 30 partner colleges involved; with the overall aim to achieve an identity that reflected both nationalities.
The resulting logo imitates continuous partnership, whilst incorporating elements of each countries national flag. The supporting brand and marketing material features abstract images of the national flower of India, the Lotus flower – mixed with vibrant images of Indian culture.
